Education and Scholarship
Delta Gamma places a high value on academics. Members are required to maintain a GPA of 2.25 on a 4.0 scale. Omicron chapter transcends these expectations and sets the bar for academic performance in the Greek community at Adelphi, achieving the highest chapter GPA of the NPC organizations on campus in Fall '07. Our chapter not only organizes weekly study hours in Swirbul Library, but also encourages new members and active sisters to use each other as academic resources through the Study Buddy Program.
The women of our chapter exemplify what it is to be goal-driven and focused, earning spots on the University's Dean's List and participating in various academic Honor Societies. In the past, members have held internships with MTV and Newsday, gaining valuable experience in the field of their choice. Delta Gamma provides the tools that are critical for academic success and the women of Omicron chapter are a shining example of this.
